Munster Club FC Quarter-final/Nemo Rangers 1-9 Éire Óg Ennis 0-3: A bright start when playing with a strong wind helped Nemo Rangers advance to the Munster semi-final after a comfortable win over Éire Óg at Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday.
The only blip for Nemo was the red card handed out to Alan Cronin after 44 minutes.
James Masters and Martin Cronin scored early points before Nemo pounced for their goal after 13 minutes. SeáO'Brien won a penalty and while Masters's effort hit the upright, he stroked home the rebound.
Further points from Alan Cronin, Paul Kerrigan and Derek Kavanagh stretched the lead to 1-5 before the visitors kicked their opening point on the call of half-time through Shane Daniels.
Nemo then coped easily with their opponents on the resumption, despite facing the elements.
