Limerick SF Semi-finals: Little-fancied St Senan's qualified for their first county senior football final when they mastered Drom-Broadford 1-7 to 1-4 at Newcastle West.
Their hero was teenager Ian Ryan, who scored 1-3 from play - his goal arriving on 23 minutes. Drom, who had county star Jason Stokes shown a straight red card, were behind 1-3 to 0-2 at the interval.
In the other semi-final, Fr Casey's of Abbeyfeale saw off the challenge of Adare 0-11 to 0-9. Adare were 0-7 to 0-6 in front at the interval, but allowed Martin Scannell, John Lenihan and Robert Browne to turn the tide in favour of the west Limerick side in a lively second half.
