UCD and TU Dublin are through to the last four of the Sigerson Cup after both secured quarter-final victories on Tuesday.
John Divilly’s UCD were comprehensive 5-18 to 1-4 winners over MTU Kerry at Belfield – while TU Dublin proved too strong for University of Limerick in Grangegorman, 2-15 to 2-11.
UCD, last year’s beaten finalists, dominated their quarter-final clash with Offaly’s Cormac Egan, Roscommon’s Ben O’Carroll among the goals for the Belfield side. UCD led 1-9 to 0-4 at the interval.
Dublin’s Jack Lundy and Monaghan’s Seán Jones scored the goals for TU Dublin as they advanced to the last four.

Seán McDonnell netted a first-half goal for UL but a free just before the break from Dubs forward Colm Basquel edged TU Dublin ahead at the turnaround, 0-9 to 1-5. Jones scored his goal shortly after the restart while Lundy raised the green flag in the 51st minute.
The remaining two quarter-finals take place on Wednesday. Ulster University will face Maynooth at 3pm in Jordanstown while DCU Dóchas Eireann will have home advantage against TUS Midlands at 6.45pm.
