Mayo will square up against Tipperary in the second round of the All-Ireland senior football championship qualifiers after the draw was made on Monday morning.
Stephen Rochford’s side hammered Limerick on Sunday to advance to the second round and they will now play Tipp who were beaten by Cork in the semi-final of the Munster Championship.
The game will throw-in at 5pm on Saturday, June 23rd at Semple Stadium and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The second round games will get going at 2pm when Waterford host Monaghan at Fraher Field in Dungarvan. The Déise recorded a first championship win in seven years when they beat Wexford on Saturday’s first round.
Tyrone were rewarded for their controversial win over Meath with a tie against Carlow, who lost out to Laois in the Leinster semi-final on Sunday, and the game at Dr Cullen Park will throw-in at 5.0pm.
Sligo will face Armagh at Markievicz Park at 6pm, while the all-Leinster clash of Longford and Kildare is set for a 7pm throw-in at Pearse Park, as does the meeting of Leitrim and Louth in Carrick-on Shannon. The venue and time for all-Ulster clash between Cavan and Down is to be decided.
