Dublin have expressed disappointment at the decision to play their round-two qualifier against Tipperary in Thurles rather than at a neutral venue.
"George Cartwright, chair of the CCCC, said that the decision was taken in the interests of promoting the game," said Dublin CEO John Costello.
“We’re disappointed and wonder would Kilkenny or Waterford be required to play Tipp in Thurles without an agreement.”
When the counties last met in the championship, in the All-Ireland quarter-final of 2014 the venue was also Semple Stadium although in 2011 they played an All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.
The match takes place this Saturday and will be the first on a double bill with Waterford-Kilkenny, who will re-engage after last year’s memorable, replayed All-Ireland semi-final.
In the football qualifier draw, also made on Monday, Mayo will travel to Clare whereas Donegal face Meath in Navan.
All qualifiers are on Saturday, July 8th.
