Antrim 5-10 Fermanagh 2-8
Antrim put five goals past Fermanagh in Brewster Park yesterday to set up an Ulster minor football semi-final against Donegal.
Conor Small found the net twice in the first half with captain Ruairi Scott also scoring a goal before half time. Antrim led 3-5 to 0-2 at the interval.
Small scored his first in the opening minute with a neat finish across the goalkeeper.
Antrim hit seven wides in the first 15 minutes but were still comfortable with captain Ruairi Scott very influential. His interception in midfield set up Small for his second goal after 28 minutes. Scott then scored the third himself.
James McAuley toe-poked in Antrim’s fourth on 34 minutes, but was injured in the process and had to be substituted.
Despite hitting 12 wides over the hour, Antrim were in control throughout.
