Westmeath last night filled the last senior football management position for 2015, ratifying Tom Cribbin for a three-year term in succession to Paul Bealin.
A special meeting of the county board in Mullingar last night finally ended their long search, approving Cribbin, who has previously managed both Laois and Offaly in the past.
Bealin was originally put forward for a second season in charge, although he failed to get the necessary backing: the county board then put forward the name of Peter Leahy, although he too was rejected by club delegates.
