Hurling qualifier double-header Saturday evening in Thurles

Davy Fitzgerald’s side face the Rebels in repeat of 2013 final while Dublin face Limerick

The times and venues for the weekend’s hurling and football qualifiers have been announced with a double header of hurling action scheduled for Saturday evening in Thurles.

Meanwhile Galway will travel to Armagh on Sunday the 12th in Round 2B of the football qualifiers.

Cork will face Clare in the second round of the All-Ireland hurling qualifiers after the draw was made on Monday morning.

In a repeat of the 2013 All-Ireland final the Munster rivals take each other on after wins over Offaly and Wexford respectively last weekend.

In the other second round tie Ger Cunningham’s Dublin will play Limerick after the two sides came through first round tests against Laois and Westmeath. Both games will take place in Semple Stadium.

The draw for Round 3A of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship has also been made, with Fermanagh to host Roscommon and Loingford to host Kildare.
