Canada’s Taylor Pendrith will take a three-shot lead into the final day of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship after retaining top spot on the leaderboard.

Building on an impressive score of 61 on day two of the tournament, Pendrith carded a third-round 65 to leave himself 17 under par going into Sunday’s finale at Port Royal.

The 30-year-old recovered from a bogey on the fifth hole to produce seven birdies after tee times were moved forward due to a bad weather forecast.

Meanwhile, Graeme McDowell is among seven players sitting in joint 10th position on nine under.
