Shane Lowry enjoyed a fine second day at the Wyndham Championship, but remains well off the pace despite shooting a 65 in North Carolina.
Lowry headed into Friday on level par after an opening day 70, and started his second round with a bang - birdying four of his opening five holes.
The Offalyman dropped a shot on the sixth but then took it straight back with another birdie on the seventh. However he couldn’t keep his run going on the back nine, and managed to pick up just one more stroke after turning for home.
At the top of the leaderboard Korea’s Si Woo Kim has a four shot advantage over the rest of the field after he shot a stunning eight under par 60 to move to 12 under par.
America's Kevin Na is second on eight under.
