Racing: Haafhd is napped to reverse juvenile form with hot favourite Three Valleys in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket today.

Three Valleys had the call over Barry Hills' charge on their only meeting last season when they were second and third respectively in the Dewhurst Stakes, separated by a length and a quarter.

However, Three Valleys was a speedy type as a juvenile, while Haafhd appeals as the kind of horse who will improve for the move up to a mile and, with another winter under his belt, can turn the tables on his old rival.

Haafhd won his first two races before meeting with defeat in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster and at Newmarket, but on both occasions he was just found out for a turn of foot by much sharper types.

He has plenty of scope and can underline his Classic claims with a win in this Group Three event.

Bonus was a really progressive type last year and he can continue on the upward curve with a win in the six-furlong NGK Spark Plugs Abernant Stakes.

The four-year-old started last season in maiden company but he soon notched up a hat-trick and graduated to Group Three level in Ireland.

That win came over six furlongs at the Curragh and the drop back to five on his next start at the track may just have been a bit sharp for him.

His final outing came after a busy campaign and Bonus may well be better for a break.

Roehampton has some entries in the Dante Stakes and the Vodafone Derby and he can justify that kind of confidence by winning the bet365 Feilden Stakes.

She was six lengths behind the winner but that was no disgrace as Attraction was head and shoulders above everything in her division last year.

This looks a much easier proposition for Birthday Suit.
