Michelle "Shelly" Farrell and Michelle Brennan were Kilkenny's hat-trick goal heroines while Farrell's sister Anna also netted.
Indeed Brennan was also prolific in point-scoring but this was an overall team performance by Kilkenny, Áine Curran, Denise Gaule and Aisling Dunphy other players to make the scoresheet.
Cork's Caitríona Collins scored two first-half points, and Denise Looby and Sinead O'Neill were also on target.
Shelly Farrell completed Kilkenny's eight-goal haul nine minutes from the end and also picked up the player-of-the-match award, an accolade her sister Anna earned in the corresponding decider last year.
The under-16 B decider between Derry and Waterford was a thrilling game and ended in a draw, 2-7 to 3-4, at St Peregrine's, Blanchardstown.
Waterford's inspirational captain, Patricia Jackman, completed a hat-trick of goals in the second half before grabbing an equaliser with the last puck of the game.
