Representative match/ Sale Jets 8 Leinster A 59: The Leinster 'A' team capped off an excellent performance with an emphatic victory over the Sale Jets at Edgeley Park last evening in front of a crowd of 1,015.
Jonathan Sexton kicked 20 points in all in an impressive 100 per cent kicking display with the Irish team scoring seven tries in total at the inaugural 'A' game ever to be played by Sale.
Leinster's tries came from Fergus McFadden, Stephen Grissing, Ian Keatley, Kieran Maloney, Alex O'Sullivan, Vasily Artemiev and a penalty try while Sexton kicked four penalties and four conversions with McFadden converting another two. Sale's points came through a Rob O'Donnell try and a David Blair penalty.
