Carrickmore 0-12 St Galls 1-9: The champions of Tyrone and Antrim will have to meet again, at Casement Park next Sunday.
Yesterday's game at Omagh ended in dramatic circumstances when Carrickmore captain Peter Loughran rescued his side with two converted frees.
St Galls couldn't have wished for a better start, a goal from Ciarán Gallagher coming after 40 seconds, before Karl Stewart eased them into a four-point lead.
But suddenly the Tyrone champions began to pick off scores. Kevin McNally, drafted in to replace the suspended Gabriel McCallan, was a constant threat, hitting three points and winning a free, which Loughran converted.
And, by the 23rd minute, a remarkable transformation had brought the scores to 0-8 to 1-1, though St Gall's finished the half strongly, with converted frees from Seán Burns and Stewart.
A succession of scores early in the second half, including two excellent Mark McCrory points, had St Gall's back in front, but, in the dying minutes, Carrickmore pulled the game out of the fire.
