NFL Division Two B/ Meath 3-12 Sligo 1-10:Graham Geraghty and Brian Farrell masterminded Meath's eight-point win over Sligo at Markievicz Park yesterday.
Geraghty scored Meath's first goal after three minutes. The visitors led by 2-4 to 0-5 at half-time with Cian Ward scoring the second goal.
The home side then battled their way back into the game as Seán Davey converted a penalty.
Sligo cut the deficit to four points with 10 minutes remaining but Meath were always able to step up a gear and Moyles scored a late goal to seal the win.
