Under-21 interprovincial series/Munster - 23 Leinster - 17: Munster secured their second win of the series thanks to a try from scrumhalf David O'Leary. With the game deep in injury-time, and Munster camped in the Leinster 22, O'Leary pounced with a show-and-go effort.
In the opening 40 minutes Munster outhalf Barry Keeshan had four kicks at goal and all sailed between the uprights. However, after a succession of drives Leinster's James Coady was held short before a clever pass from Cillian Willis allowed full back Ross McCarron to bulldoze over.
Keeshan added two more penalties before Breffini O'Donnell crossed near the Leinster postsand Keeshan added the extras to make it 16-5 but the outhalf then handed Leinster's Marc Hewitt a simple run to the line, in first-half injury time, when he misjudged a pass into the wingers arms. The value of the try rocketed considering Leinster second-row Brian Moroney was in the sin bin.
Both sides tightened things up after the break with little chances materialising until Leinster replacement John Murphy broke the cover to touchdown.
