PREVIEW Munster v Edinburgh:Edinburgh have a list of 14 unavailable players due to international duty or injury. They have won just just four times in 13 Pro12 games and endured a disastrous European campaign.
They have also lost on three occasions to Munster, twice in Europe, this season although the second-half revival at Murrayfield at least showed some sign of running form by Michael Bradley’s charges.
Still, the Cork native will hardly get much joy in his home town tonight.
Munster only have four front liners of their own on show – BJ Botha at tighthead, hooker Damien Varley, the returning flanker CJ Stander and James Coughlan captaining the second string selection from number eight.
It will also be useful to see the progress of talents like JJ Hanrahan at 12 and Ian Nagle at lock. The hosts should have enough to prevail.
