Meath SFC Semi-finals: Navan O'Mahonys advanced to their first final since 1997 by seeing off the challenge of Blackhall Gaels, 2-12 to 2-10, at Páirc Tailteann yesterday.
O'Mahonys led 1-8 to 0-4 at the break and, even though six minutes after the restart the deficit was down to two points, they regained control to reach the decider.
Three years after winning the junior title, Wolfe Tones are through to the senior final following a 1-11 to 0-10 win over Simonstown.Boosted by a goal from Alan Fox, Tones led 1-5 to 0-5 at the break and comfortably maintained their advantage in the second half.
