Fr Godfrey Cup / Newbridge College 33 High School 8: Newbridge College led all the way to claim a place in the Fr Godfrey Cup final at Westmanstown yesterday.
Jamie Johnson opened the scoring with a try, converted by Johnny Mullen, and Jason Harney added a second just before half-time.
Alan O'Keeffe slotted over a penalty for High School, but the winners led 12-3 at half-time.
Shane Mangan set up Mullen for a try in the 36th minute and the outhalf also converted. There was no way back for High School after Austin Cella scored a try, with Mullen converting again.
Mangan got Newbridge's final try at the start of the final quarter, and Paddy O'Connor managed a consolation try before the end.
