Schools Rugby Leinster Junior Cup Newbridge College 18 St Mary's College 10Newbridge College withstood a late revival from St Mary's College in a thrilling replay at Lakelands Park yesterday. The Kildare side were in control at 11-0 some 10 minutes into the second half, but St Mary's struck back with two tries.
On 25 minutes, Newbridge bagged their first try when number eight Sam Coghlan-Murray powered through the cover.
St Mary's tries came from centre Killian Grumley-Traynor and fullback David O'Halloran.
Newbridge sealed it when wing Adrian Dunne broke from his own half to score under the posts.
