Former tennis world number one Jennifer Capriati is set to face trial in December in a stalking and battery case involving her ex-boyfriend, it has been reported in the US.

Capriati pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this year and the trial date has been set for December 17th.

The triple grand slam winner did not attend a hearing in Palm Beach County today, according to a report carried by the Palm Beach Post.
