WORLD champion Michael Schumacher and team mate Eddie Irvine both had mechanical problems with their Ferrari's on a frustrating day's practice at Mugello.

Irvine, who had completed some 60 laps without a hitch on Tuesday, was grounded when a plastic bag, left over from last weekend's Italian motorcycle Grand Prix, was sucked in by the air vent cooling his V10 engine.
