SHAMROCK Rovers manager Mick Byrne has continued his recruitment drive with Tommy Dunne and Richie Purdy the last two players to join the Dublin team. Rovers have paid £2,500 for Dunne with Purdy signed on a free transfer. The pair leave National League champions Derry City as a result of the club's policy of concentrating on local talent whenever possible.

"When everyone was fit it was difficult having Dublin based players not getting their game," said Derry manager Felix Healy.
