Ireland newcomer Isaac Boss is in line to return to the Ulster starting line-up for the province's final European Cup outing of the season in Toulouse on Sunday.

While effectively a dead-rubber, with both teams having failed to make the knock-out stages, coach Mark McCall will be desperate to finish on a high and exorcise the ghosts of last weekend's home defeat at the hands of runaway Pool Five winners Llanelli.

Should Boss, who won his first Ireland cap in the autumn internationals, recover from the shoulder injury sustained in the Celtic League earlier this month he will replace Kieran Campbell at the base of the scrum. If not, Campbell will keep his place with Paul Marshall set to deputise on the replacement's bench.

Stephen Ferris, who has not featured for Ulster since injuring a hand at the start of December, is another possible inclusion but will only be included as back-row cover if deemed fit enough. David Pollock, who has come through the underage ranks at international level, is on standby should Ferris be ruled out.
