AIL League Division One round-up: Shannon ended their recent losing streak in the AIL on Saturday in a game in which Ireland hooker Jerry Flannery featured.
The team, which had lost their previous three matches, beat UCD 31-15 at Thomond Park.
Flannery played 40 minutes in the second half as he sought to prove his fitness ahead of next Saturday's Six Nations clash against Wales.
Elsewhere, Cork Constitution beat Galwegians 19-15 at Temple Hill to stay on top of the first division.
Second-placed UL Bohemians overcame Ballymena 29-22 at Eaton Park this afternoon while third-placed Clontarf were beaten 22-23 by St Mary's College.
In today's other Division one matches, Belfast Harelquins defeated Blackrock 43-36, Bucaneers lost 12-27 to Dolphin, Dungannon beat Lansdowne 20-08 at Stevenson Park and Terenure were victorious against Garryowen, winning their match 23-13.
