Ireland announce new four-year sponsorship deal with Vodafone

Joe Schmidt’s side will wear new multi-million sponsor on shirts for South Africa tour

The IRFU have announced a new four-year sponsorship deal worth €15 million with Vodafone Ireland.

The deal starts on Wednesday June 1st and Joe Schmidt’s side will wear the sponsor on their shirts for the upcoming tour to South Africa.

Vodafone replace 3 Ireland as the Irish rugby team’s new sponsor, ending their competitor’s deal four years early.

Ireland’s three Test tour begins in Cape Town on June 11th, before the second Test in Johannesburg on June 18th and a final Test in Port Elizabeth on June 25th.
