Twitter was buzzing after England failed to overcome the 26 point gap needed to take the title from Ireland in Saturday's incredible Six Nations shoot-out.
Joe Schmidt's side beat Scotland 10-40, doing just enough to edge past the target set by Wales in the first tie and enough to put the title beyond England's reach at Twickenham.
Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and George Hook tweeted their congratulations, as did the likes of Hozier, One Direction's Niall Horan and Kodaline.
Incredibly proud that Ireland came away with the @rbs_6_nations cup again today! Absolutely thrilled, congrats @IrishRugby! #6nations2015
