Ireland 17 England 16: Ireland recorded a dramatic victory over England in the under-19 Rugby World Cup in Dubai this evening when Keith Earls scored a match-winning try late in the game.
The victory is all the more sweet considering England led 13-3 at half-time.
Outhalf Daniel Cipriani traded penalty kicks with his Irish counterpart Brian Collins before Adam Powell crashed over the line to extend England's advantage.
But Ireland regrouped in the second half. Aided by the fact England had two players sent to the sin-bin, Collins kicked three quick penalties to leave just a score between the sides.
Cipriani kicked another penalty to once again widen the gap but Ireland, after a spell of controlled rugby, struck a killer blow when Earls crossed the line on the overlap to secure victory.
Ireland's next game is against France on Sunday evening.
