Ireland flanker Denis Leamy has won his battle to line out for Munster against Perpignan at Lansdowne Road this Saturday.
Leamy, whose chances had been estimated at 50-50 by coach Declan Kidney, passed a fitness test last night. The boon for the Munster men comes on top of yesterday's news that Nicolas Laharrague, who produced a match-winning performance for Perpignan in Bourgoin on Saturday, will miss the clash with a shoulder injury.
Former Cork minor and Under-21 hurler Tomas O'Leary is also healthy and comes in to fill the boots of the injured Barry Murphy.
Rob Henderson, who had been rumoured to be making a surprise return for Kidney's charges, was nowhere to be seen among the names, although two places are still to be confirmed.
Munster completed their preparations for the showdown with a training session in the wind and rain at Musgrave Park yesterday morning.
Kidney said he was pleased with the match buildup despite some tough weather.
" I was very happy with the application shown by the players in difficult conditions," he said.
"But according to the weather forecast we could have more of the same on Saturday so training in similar conditions may be a help."
The match kicks off at 5.30pm
