Former Leinster back Niall Morris has rejoined the province on a short-term contract.

The 27-year-old left Leinster for Leicester Tigers in 2011 but struggled with injuries last season and the English Premiership club opted not to renew his contract.

The former Blackrock College student has met up with the rest of the Leinster squad and has been taking part in the pre-seaosn schedule.

Leinster coach Leo Cullen welcomed the utility-back back into the provincial fold, he said: "Niall was unlucky with injuries in his last season in England but has performed at a very high level for the Tigers in both the Premiership and in the Champions Cup.
