Ronan O'Gara's foray into coaching could begin alongside Jonny Sexton in Paris with Racing Metro 92, if reports from France are to be believed.
The Munster outhalf has the option of an additional one-year contract with the province but he is thought to be favouring move into coaching sooner rather than later.
According to the RMCSport, that opportunity has presented itself in the most unlikely of places, the new club of Sexton, outgoing Leinster outhalf and O'Gara's successor to the Ireland number 10 jersey.
The website reported this afternoon that O'Gara, who is fluent in French, met with club president Jacky Lorenzetti in London this afternoon, where he agreed a two-year deal as assistant coach at the club.
