Anthony Foley has made five changes to his Munster side for Friday night's Pro 12 fixture against Edinburgh.

The game at Musgrave Park will be the first since it was announced Johan Erasmus is to join the province as director of rugby at the start of July.

Munster are currently seventh place in the Pro 12 table and tied on points with the Scots, who sit a place above them, meaning a win is critical if Champions Cup qualification is to be achieved.

Four of the changes have come in the pack with Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Dave Foley and Dave O'Callaghan all retuning to the starting XV.
