Kane Douglas’s Leinster deal to last three years

Wallaby lock is still contracted to Australian Rugby until December and may have to wait to join up with Irish side

. However, the 14-time capped Wallaby lock is contracted to the Australian Rugby Union until December and could be denied joining his new club until after the

Douglas will certainly finish out the New South Wales Waratahs’ Super Rugby campaign, which runs to the August Bank Holiday weekend, and he could remain with Ewen McKenzie’s Wallaby squad until the tour of Europe, which includes a Test match in Dublin on November 22nd.

Scotland wings Tommy Seymour and Sean Lamont will swap the 15-a-side game for the sevens version this summer after they were both selected in the nation's Commonwealth Games squad.

The duo both saw action during this year’s Six Nations but have handed Scotland Sevens head coach Stephen Gemmell a boost ahead of Glasgow 2014 by agreeing to turn out in the abbreviated format.
