Munster have added three players to their Heineken Cup squad ahead of the quarter-final against Toulouse next month (April 5th).
With scrumhalf Cathal Sheridan and hooker Mike Sherry out injured, Rob Penney has drafted in cover in the shape of Gerry Hurley and Quentin McDonald.
Hurley, a 29-year-old scrumhalf from Midleton, has lined out seven times for Munster, while 25-year-old New Zealander McDonald has yet to feature for the province.
South African wing Gerhard van der Heever is also called upon having seen his brief Munster career truncated by injury. The Bloemfontein native joined in November last year but broke a bone in his hand on his debut against Newport-Gwent Dragons.
Since recovering he has scored two tries in three appearances this year.
