Rugby:Ulster will be without Luke Marshall and Adam D'Arcy for the Heineken Cup pool four clash with Glasgow at Ravenhill on Friday and beyond, after both sustained fractures in the PRO12 win over Scarlets last weekend.

Centre Marshall is facing four to six weeks on the sideline with a broken finger tha requires surgerym while D’Arcy’s fractured ankle will be assessed “by a specialist later in the week when an approximate timeframe for a return to action will be confirmed”, according to the province.

Dan Tuohy suffered a recurrence of a calk injury against Scarlets but he has been named in the squad and will be monitored throughout the week, along with Jared Payne, who missed the game against the Welsh with a groin strain.

Ulster lead pool four by three points ahead of Castres heading into the penultimate game and with a trip to face the French still to come.

Last year’s beaten finalists, who have only lost twice in all competitions this season, are five points ahead of Northampton, with Glasgow yet to register a win despite coming close on all four occasions.
