Josh van der Flier and Jordan Larmour picked up minor injuries in Leinster's thumping 64-7 win over Bath last Saturday but along with Tadhg Furlong and James Ryan their prognosis looks promising for Ireland's Six Nations opener against Wales next Saturday week at the Aviva Stadium.

Van der Flier has a minor groin injury, and will be assessed by the Irish medical team, and while Larmour was removed temporarily during the game at the Rec after picking up a facial injury he is still expected to be available for the Six Nations according to a medical update by Leinster.

“Both Tadhg Furlong (calf) and James Ryan (hamstring) have been making good progress and will continue their rehabilitation with the Irish Rugby medical team,” added the statement.

Leinster face Cardiff at the Arms Park on Saturday (7.35pm - Live on TG4, Premier Sports and S4C) and both Josh Murphy (chest) and Dave Kearney will undergo further monitoring this week before a decision is made on their availability for that game.
