Ireland A coach Michael Bradley will select a team tomorrow for next Tuesday's penultimate match in the Churchill Cup against the New Zealand Maoris (Live Sky Sports 1 at 8pm), writes Gavin Cummiskey.
The only injury concern is St Mary's outhalf Jonathan Sexton who, playing at fullback, was withdrawn in the second half of last Saturday's 39-20 win over Canada with a damaged knee. Sexton is expected to recover but may struggle to hold the fullback slot as the addition of the Leicester Tigers Johnny Murphy, not to mention the try-scoring contribution by replacement John Hearty, gives Bradley further options in this place.
Jeremy Staunton is favourite to retain the outhalf position - any chance of being called up to the senior tour in Argentina is now dependent on injury - despite the arrival of Ian Humphreys who was unavailable last week due to European Cup final duty. A third Tigers player, scrumhalf Frank Murphy, is also pressing for inclusion ahead of Leinster's Chris Keane.
The management can scout the opposition at tomorrow night's game against Canada at Franklin Gardens, Northampton.
