A sixth man was arrested yesterday by police investigating allegations of doping and race-fixing. The man, aged 34, surrendered voluntarily to officers at Charing Cross Police Station in London.
He has not been identified and is not licensed by the Jockey Club. He has been bailed until April 29th.
A statement from Scotland Yard said: "A 34-year-old man voluntarily attended Charing Cross Police Station by arrangement with his solicitors and was arrested in connection with an inquiry into horse-doping and race-fixing.
"He has been bailed to return to police on April 29th."
Last week jockeys Jamie Osborne, Dean Gallagher and Leighton Aspell were arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Organised Crime Group.
They were later released, without being charged, on police bail to report back on April 29th.
