Sligo 2-13 Antrim 0-13:Mark Breheny shattered Antrim's hopes of salvaging something from this game with an injury-time goal in an action-packed tie at Markievicz Park yesterday.
Substitutes Paul Taylor and John McPartland rescued Sligo with a couple of late points, but Antrim were still only a goal in arrears entering the final minutes.
Sligo's Eamon O'Hara and Antrim corner back Gavin Bell were red carded within three minutes of each other in the closing stages of the second half and Antrim received another set-back late in the game when their ace free-taker Paddy Cunningham was injured and had to be substituted. He had scored seven of the visitors' points.
