FA Women's Cup/Charlton 1 Arsenal 4:Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Charlton 4-1 in the FA Women's Cup final at the City Ground to complete a clean sweep of major trophies this season.

Katie Holtham fired the Addicks into a surprise lead after only two minutes before the Gunners replied in emphatic fashion to earn a comfortable victory in Nottingham.

Holtham struck early to put Charlton ahead only for Kelly Smith to level matters five minutes later.

Captain Jayne Ludlow put Arsenal ahead after 15 minutes to complete the turnaround before making it 3-1 in first-half injury time.

Smith wrapped things up 10 minutes from time with a cool finish as Arsenal lifted their fourth major trophy this season.

After leading her side to a famous win, Ludlow told BBC1: "It's been an absolutely fantastic year, big credit goes to all of the team who have been brilliant all year.

"It was a team performance and has been all year.

"We want to be European champions again next year. Hopefully things get bigger and better."

Charlton's Eni Aluko said: "In terms of outfield play I think we matched them in the first half. The set pieces killed us, really."
