Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy is reportedly wanted by Italian giants Juventus and Roma.

Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy is reportedly wanted by Italian giants Juventus and Roma.

Bellamy has found himself out of favour at Anfield in recent months and failed to take any part in the Champions League final defeat by AC Milan in Athens.

The Welshman has indicated a desire to remain at the club and fight for his place, but that could be tested by interest from the Italian pair according to various newspaper reports today.

New Juve boss Claudio Ranieri is attempting to build a side capable of competing at the top of Serie A and it is believed Bellamy may be tempted by the chance to emulate his hero Ian Rush, who moved to Turin from Liverpool 20 years ago.

However, Reds boss Rafa Benitez may be more keen on the offer from Roma, who are set to offer Alessandro Mancini in exchange.

Bellamy has been linked with a host of clubs this summer, including Aston Villa and West Ham, just a year after moving to Anfield from Blackburn.
