Bohemians have accepted an offer, believed to be in the region of €175,000 for under-21 international striker Stephen Ward from Wolves.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 player, who was also a target for Stephen Kenny's Dunfermline, has been on trial at Molineux and will now discuss personal terms with the Championship club.
The English club had been monitoring the Dubliner for some time but their interest is said to have heightened after he apparently scored five goals in a game arranged so that club officials could watch him in action on Monday night.
A Wolves spokesperson confirmed Ward had arrived back in the midlands this morning to complete personal terms.
He said: "We have agreed the basis of the deal with Bohemians. Stephen did well in his trial with us. This is a player the manager wants to sign and we are looking forward to having talks later."
