Next weekend's big Dublin derby between Bohemians and title-chasing Shamrock Rovers at Dalymount Park has been postponed.
The league game will be rescheduled for a later date as defender Conor Powell has been called-up to the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for the game with Portugal at Turner's Cross the same night.
Bohemians boss Sean Connor would also be without new signing Chris Turner as the midfielder is selected in the Northern Ireland under-21 squad to play Germany that night.
UCD's fixture with Cork City - also on Friday week - has been postponed for the same reasons.
Belfield trio Darren Quigley, Shane McFaul and Conor Sammon will all be involved for Don Givens' side in the Uefa championship qualifier.
Givens' has called up Ipswich's Owen Garvan for the game as Blackburn's Keith Tracey is ruled out with a thigh injury. The 19-year-old joins his club-mate Billy Clarke in the squad.
Ireland are in a tough group and play England at Turner's Cross in their second assignment on October 16th.
"We are in a difficult group and we have some very interesting games," said Givens. "Both Portugal and England are extremely good sides with some excellent players, but we are confident going into both games.
"We are delighted to be playing the matches in Turner's Cross because the people of Cork have always been very good at supporting underage football.
"We are looking forward to a full house at Turner's Cross, which would really give the lads a massive boost."
Bohemians meanwhile have been fined €1100 following incidents arising from their league game with Longford Town at the start of August.
The Phibsboro club must pay €1000 owing to the "unacceptable behaviour of their supporters" during the Flancare Park contest which they lost 3-0.
A further €100 is owed as five Bohemians players were booked during the game.
