West Ham are reportedly set to land Chelsea winger Shaun-Wright Phillips and West Brom midfielder Nigel Quashie in deals combining £11million.

England flyer Wright-Phillips has been top of Alan Curbishley's wanted list since he took charge at Upton Park and the Hammers have agreed a £9.8 million fee with the Premiership champions, according to The Sun

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claims former Charlton chief Curbishley has targeted Quashie as a replacement for wantaway central midfielder Javier Mascherano.

Scotland battler Quashie is believed to have handed in a transfer request at The Hawthorns - but Hammers fans will be wary as he has been relegated with four different clubs in QPR, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and the Baggies.

Albion boss Tony Mowbray knows he must sell to fund his own spending plans - and has reportedly been offered £1.25million for Quashie.

Hammers fans will be more excited by the possible capture of Wright-Phillips, who has failed to cement a first-team place at Stamford Bridge since moving from Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho could yet scupper the deal, though, as Joe Cole and Arjen Robben are both carrying injuries at the moment.

Hammers chairman Eggert Magnusson is prepared to splash the cash this month, however, and is ready to stump up a £9.8million bid for Wright-Phillips as they sit third from bottom in the Premiership.
