Czech goalkeeper Michal Danek is hoping to join Celtic before next Friday's transfer deadline.
The 24-year-old Viktoria Plzen shot-stopper told Czech newspaper Sport he would visit the Scottish champions in the coming days.
"Next week I am going to visit the club," said Danek. "If this (transfer) was possible, I would certainly not refuse it.
"It is a great club, I am going to fly there to see how it looks."
Danek has also been linked with Norwich and AEK Athens. "But the interest of Celtic is the greatest," he said.
Viktoria Plzen chairman Ladislav Valasek stressed that Celtic have not made a bid for the goalkeeper who has conceded just one goal in the first three matches of the Czech season.
"Danek is in excellent form, he is a mature 'keeper and the Czech goalkeeping school has a good name in United Kingdom," said Valasek. "But we have not received any official offer yet, though we have heard about their interest."
Poland international Artur Boruc is currently the first-choice goalkeeper at Celtic, with Mark Brown his understudy.
