Reading striker Kevin Doyle has warned any interested clubs he is not yet ready to leave the Madejski Stadium. The 23-year-old has been a huge success in his - and the Royals' - debut season in the Premiership.
So far he has 10 goals to his name, a tally which helped the Royals finish 2006 in the top half of the table.
The Republic of Ireland international has been linked with a £5million move to Aston Villa but Doyle is determined not to let the speculation affect his career.
He said: "With things like that even if you start thinking about it you get ahead of yourself. I'm not ready for it. I have been in the Premiership six months and I have a lot more to learn. I have only been in England for 18 months so I can't think about anything like that."
