Sunderland have signed Luton midfielder Carlos Edwards in a £1.4million deal.
Edwards joined the Hatters back in 2005 from Wrexham and made 74 appearances, scoring eight goals.
The 28-year-old also performed impressively for Trinidad and Tobago at last summer's World Cup playing all three matches in England's group.
