Euro 2008 Round-up:Two-goal David Healy propelled Northern Ireland to the top of Group F as they ended Sweden's 100 per cent record in this dramatic Euro 2008 qualifier.

The Leeds striker continued his remarkable scoring sequence with a brace in front of a disbelieving Windsor Park crowd.

Healy cancelled out the opener from Johan Elmander then struck the winner to take his tally to nine goals in the campaign and 29 in 56 international appearances.

Elsewhere Steven Gerrard spared woeful England's blushes with a two-goal salvo in their qualifier  with minnows Andorra in rainswept Barcelona.

But it was the only bright spot as thousands of England fans called for the sacking of coach Steve McClaren.

Gerrard broke the deadlock after a goalless first half in the 54th minute and the Liverpool skipper added a second 15 minutes from time. Substitute David Nugent scored his first international goal in injury time.

After the game Gerrard described the first half as one of the most difficult of his international career.

He told Sky Sports 1: "That first half was probably one of the most difficult I've experienced for England. The fans were on us quite early and we found it hard to break them down.

"We knew eventually it would come and it did come and maybe we could have scored four or five.
There has been a lot of pressure. I think it started in Israel, I think that is where [the fans'] disappointment has come from, I think they expected us to get six points."

Wales cruised to a comfortable 3-0 Group D victory over a totally outclassed San Marino in their qualifier in Cardiff.

Ryan Giggs and Gareth Bale set the ball rolling in the first half, and Jason Koumas netted a second period penalty in front of an 18,752 crowd - far more than had been predicted.

The performance was fine from Wales, but they know they should have scored more goals.

Danny Coyne did not have a save to make as Wales spent the entire game camped in their hapless opponents' half.

Scotland's qualification hopes suffered a blow as they lost 2-0 to Italy in Bari. Confidence had been high after Saturday's 2-1 win over Georgia saw the Scots remain at the top of Group B, along with France.

But a Luca Toni double gave the world champions a much-needed victory after four months out of action and just two previous wins in the group.

Scotland will now have to turn their attention to their trip to the Faroe Islands in June in a bid to steer their campaign back on track.
