The appointment of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane as the new Republic of Ireland management team has prompted widespread and diverse reaction.
While O’Neill’s candidacy is uncontroversial, Keane has previously expressed disdain for the FAI and famously walked out on the Republic of Ireland team during the 2002 World Cup finals
