The Twitter reaction to Ireland’s Euro 2016 draw with Sweden

Social media was very much alive and kicking during the 90 minutes in Paris

Ireland's 1-1 draw with Sweden at the Stade de France was, on the whole, two points dropped.

Martin O’Neill’s side were excellent for 48 minutes and took the game to Sweden.

However, after Wes Hoolahan broke the deadlock in that 48th minute they sat back and invited the Swedish pressure.

An equaliser was inevitable and it duly came, as cruel as it was, from the head of Ciarán Clark.

Nonetheless it’s already better than 2012. With that there was quite the reaction on Twitter.
